this game's engine is very impressive, but the controls are... lacking. This might work better if it used the mouse for movement instead of the arrow keys.

pretty but impossible

I don't understand how all these reviewers can say they kept playing until they got bored; even when I play as conservatively as possible I always go bankrupt within a few minutes.

All that this "criticism" has taught me is that McDonald's should be praised for their business savvy if this is how hard it is to run the company.

Very pretty, but inertia is really detrimental to a precision platformer like this. I think it would work a lot better without it.

You lost me on the tutorial

got bored in the tutorial and never checked out the rest of the game. I would suggest incorporating the tutorial into the beginning of the game; that way you have the reward of beating people up as you learn, instead of just learning in a sterile environment (which is boring).

a good start

It's a good start, but the instructions don't make a whole lot of sense, and they're almost too pixelated to read. I would suggest using a larger font (and thus more pages), and not bitmapping the font, so that it anti-aliases better. I think this would be a lot better if it were fleshed out, and also included a link to a website with more detailed information.
